Football season is here, which means it’s time for game days, tailgates, watch parties, football-themed birthdays … and an entirely reasonable amount of decorating in your favorite team colors.

So I created a new free printable football banner that you can customize for just about any football celebration.

One Printable, Lots of Possibilities

The printable includes the full alphabet plus numbers 0–9, with each letter and number on its own football-themed banner piece. Just print the pages you need, cut out the pieces, and spell out whatever fits your celebration.

A few ideas:

  • GO BADGERS
  • GO PACK GO
  • TOUCHDOWN

  • Your favorite player’s name or number
  • Your child’s team name or mascot

You could even use it for a football-themed birthday and add the birthday kid’s name or age.

Make It Match Your Team

One of my favorite things about a printable like this is how easy it is to make it feel a little more customized.

Add ribbon, string, yarn, or twine in your team’s colors when you hang it. Pair it with coordinating balloons, table decorations, pom-poms, or other game day goodies. You can go all-in on the football theme or simply use the banner as a fun little backdrop for your snack table.

And because you only print the letters and numbers you need, you can come back to the same printable again for a completely different celebration.
