It’s February, and you know what that means!
Yes, I know it’s Groundhog Day, and we get to find out if we still have 6 more weeks of Winter. And yes, we celebrate Black History Month, President’s Day, and National Chocolate Covered Nut Day (seriously), but it’s also the month we get to crown a new Super Bowl Champion!
So today’s post is full of decorating, food and activity ideas to help you enjoy the biggest game of the year, whether you are gathering with a group, or hanging out at home with just the family.
Let’s start with decorating, okay?
Head to your local dollar store and grab a few supplies to make a Simple Wreath (or 2) and this quick and easy Tassel Garland.

And while you are there, find some clothespins, a wreath frame and some spray paint to create this gorgeous Team Spirit Wreath.

For something really quick and easy, try the Game Day Banner or Football Party Banner that you print at home, then cut out and hang!
Or download one of these files for a Kansas City Chiefs or Tampa Bay Buccaneers specific banner:
.
Now that you have the house looking good, let’s move on to the food, because no party is complete without snack and drinks!
Let’s get that party started with Ten Drink Ideas.

I’m sure you can find something to please everyone in 15 Appetizers that require only 5 ingredients (or less), 14 Dip Recipes, or how to use that Crock Pot for Game Day!
And last but not least, we all need something sweet to finish things off, so find a favorite in this list of the 10 Best Desserts for tailgating or parties.

.
Now, what if you have kids or adults who aren’t really that interested in the game (or the commercials)? How about entertaining them with one (or more) of these fun games?
Football Bingo does require you to watch the game, but adds the excitement of filling out your card for things that happen during the game. And there can be prizes to make it even better!

Have a race to see who can be first to find all of the team names in this Football Word Search.

Or maybe a Football Crossword puzzle to keep them busy.

A Football Guessing Game is fun, too! Just make sure to have everyone fill this one out BEFORE the game starts!

There you go! Loads of inspiration to make this your best game day party yet!
Enjoy the game, the commercials and the half time show, and I’ll see you back here next week.
