Hello, sports fans!
Do you attend football games in person, or watch at home? We gather around our TV at our house on game days, and always have some fun planning our “homegating” party food and decorations (because what’s a party without food and decorations?)!
Decorating for game day can be as simple as using paper plates and napkins in your team’s colors. But if you want to take it up a level, you’ll want to add some festive decorations to the living room or den (or wherever you watch TV).
Last week I shared a free game day banner for you to download and print at home. And this week I’ve got another option to add to the fun!

You only need a few supplies to make this at home:
- The free download (see below)
- Paper or cardstock
- A scissors (or paper cutter if you have one)
- A hole punch
- String

This project takes just a few easy steps:
One – Download the pdf document here:
Two – Print out the flags on white paper or cardstock.
I printed mine 2 flags per page, but you can print them full size for a bigger banner. To make the banner more durable, print the flags on heavy duty cardstock.
Three – Cut out the flags.

Four – Punch holes in the upper corners of each flag.

Five – Lay the flags out in order.

Six – Run the string through the holes on the flags.

Seven – Hang up the banner, and get ready to party! Go Team!

Until next week,
Carrie
