Week 2 of College football and Week 1 of the 2017 NFL season are in the books! It was a great weekend in our house, as both of our favorite football teams won their games (On Wisconsin and Go Pack Go)!   How did your teams do?
Football is made even more enjoyable when you have good food and drink to enjoy with your family and friends. Whether you just got invited to next week’s tailgating party, and don’t want to show up with store-bought cookies (again!), or you just want something new to offer the neighbors who congregate at your house to watch the game, I’ve gathered some great dessert ideas for the party.
They can be prepared in advance, and are ready to go when you are, so enjoy the game!

P.S.  Many of you know that I live just north of Atlanta, Georgia, and that we were in the predicted path of Hurricane Irma as it swept across the Southeastern United States (Tropical Storm Irma by the time it got to us). We got a lot of rain and high winds, but I am grateful that Irma moved to the west of us, and that we got nothing serious.  Thanks to those that checked up on me!
Thanks so much for including my Bourbon Pecan Brownies in your round-up of tailgate desserts! I’d like to try one of each of these on our next game day. 😉
