Earrings are a very easy way to add color and personality to your outfit.  But there are endless types to choose from, which could make the selection process a little overwhelming.

So today I’m going to talk about a few types of earrings and what makes each type special, to help you find the perfect earrings for your lifestyle.

Simple Beaded Earrings are made using a small number of beads on some type of lightweight metal, attached to an ear wire. They are easy to wear, as the small size makes them very versatile and very comfortable.

Beads come in a wide variety of shapes and colors, so it is easy to match your earrings to any outfit you own.

Best for: Women who lead an active lifestyle, or just prefer smaller, dainty earrings.

.

Beaded Dangle Earrings are similar to the simple beaded styles above but hang down a little (or a lot) longer and will swing and sway whenever you move your head.  As noted above, the endless variety of bead colors means you are sure to find earrings to coordinate with any outfit.

Best for: Women who prefer colorful dangly earrings with some swing, and don’t have small children who like to grab at their earrings.

.

Leather Earrings offer a completely different look than other types of earrings.  A major benefit is that the leather makes the earrings extremely lightweight, allowing you to wear big, trendy earrings that are still quite comfortable. Earrings can be made using natural colored leather or leather dyed in your favorite colors.  They also come in endless shapes and sizes.

Best for: Women who like big, trendy yet comfortable earrings.

.

Tassel and Fringe Earrings are a softer version of the beaded dangle earring look. The cotton threads and rayon cords come in a wide variety of colors. The tassel earrings can be simple and streamlined, or provide a fringe look when hung from a hoop!

Best for: women who prefer a soft, subtle look.
