Spring is here, and that means spring sports seasons have started in most parts of the country. Whether you are a new sports parent, or an old pro, we could all use some easy ways to help get those kids and their teams pumped up and ready to play on game day!
If you’ve been following the blog for awhile, you already know that I love sports quotes and slogans, so you won’t be surprised that I’d use slogans for motivation (and if you haven’t been following the blog, consider this your invitation to do so)!
Today I’m sharing some ideas on using your favorite slogans to help inspire and cheer on the team to success! School sports can mean the kids are wearing their uniforms to school, or the school holds the occasional pep rally. But don’t stop there! Let’s take it a step further:
ONE – Why not decorate their locker door with something inspirational, in their team colors! To make it easy, you can purchase any of these designer sports graphics, download them instantly, and print out as many as you need at home.

You can print the graphic that matches the team’s colors, or use the black and white design to print onto brightly colored paper to make them even more eye catching. Then just tape them to the kid’s lockers on the morning of each game. Pro hint: laminate them, so they can be reused! Or make it even easier by printing onto magnetic sheets, so you can quickly and easily attach them directly to locker doors, and take them down just as easily.
TWO – Stickers are fun, too, as they come in all kinds of designs and colors, and can be attached to water bottles or game day treat bags! The kid’s would also love these as rewards for their hard work hard, to put on school folders, phone cases or laptops! Pro tip: get the stickers than match the locker signs, for a coordinated look!

THREE – Encourage good sportsmanship or team work by rewarding the most deserving players at the end of the game. You could use stickers to do that, or maybe something a little more meaningful, like these spiral bound notebooks. Who wouldn’t love to have one of these to track their game stats, for journaling, or to show off at school!

That’s just a few quick and easy ideas, and I’m sure there are many more ways to inspire your kids on game day. What’s your favorite? I’d love to hear from you!
Until next week,
Carrie
