Are you a football fan who hosts game day parties at your house? Or maybe you just like a few fun things to celebrate the season with the family?

Even though I’d rather be at Lambeau Field to cheer on my Packers, I can make watching at home a lot more fun by pulling out all my festive team spirit party decorations! Most of my decorations are ones I made myself, and you can make them, too, in your team’s colors.

Just click the links for each project below, to be taken to the blog post containing a complete supply list and detailed instructions.

Let’s start with my front door, where I have a Tassel Garland and a pair of gorgeous Outdoor Wreaths, both made from materials you can find at your local dollar store. The garland would also look great draped on your fireplace mantel or to dress up a table filled with tasty game day snacks!

.

For a different kind of door decoration, try this Clothespin Wreath. It would also look really nice on a door inside your house.

.

For something totally unexpected, and popular with the kids, how about creating these Sports Fan Snowmen or PomPom Cuties, to put just about anywhere! I have some on my mantel, and more on the shelves in my studio, and they always make me smile when I see them.

.

Want something in a sports banner look? I’ve got several options I think you are going to love! Just download the free pdf, print out the banners at home, and then string them up with yarn, string or whatever you have, to decorate the wall, the mantel or that snack table!

The Game Day Banner and Football Banner work for any team, and you could even combine the two, to create your own look!

.

Looking for some artwork to frame and hang on the wall or prop up on a shelf or table? This Football Word Art has been a pretty popular download, and comes in 2 different styles:

.

Create a collection of these fun Paper Party Decorations in your team colors, and scatter them all around the room! They stand up on their own, or you can use string to hang them from doorknobs, stair railings, or lamp switches.

.

And last but not least are these Team Specific Banners I created for all 32 of the NFL teams. Mine says “Go Packers,” but feel free to make yours for the team of your choice.

.

Hopefully one or more of these ideas has you excited to take on a little DIY project, and bring some team spirit into your home. Drop me a comment, and share what you’ve decided to make!

And may your team play well this weekend!

Until next week,

Carrie
