Four years between Olympic competitions seems like a long time, but add on a year-long delay due to the pandemic, and it feels like forever since the last Summer Olympics. But the time has finally arrived, and the opening ceremony for the 2020 Tokyo Games is on July 23!

A record 41 sports and 339 medal events (33 more than in Rio in 2016) will take place from July 23rd through August 8th in Tokyo, which was also the site of the 1964 Games.

With so many sports going on, many at the same time, I decided to put together a schedule so that I wouldn’t miss my favorites!

You can use it to plan what you want to watch, too! Download the pdf file, and print it at home (or at a local office supply store)!

What events are you planning on watching?

My favorites are gymnastics, athletics (also known as track and field) and soccer, but I’ll be watching some softball, baseball, swimming and many more, too!

Enjoy the games!

Carrie
