Hello, sports fans!

Do you watch football games from the comfort of your own home? Most of us do, but just because we are “homegating” doesn’t mean we have to miss out on the fun atmosphere of being there in person.

Why not create a festive environment with some fun game day party decor?

If you are the do-it-yourself type, or just want to save some money when decorating for the weekend’s party, this free game day banner is for you!

You only need a few supplies to make this at home:

  • The free download (see below)
  • Paper or cardstock
  • A scissors
  • A hole punch
  • String

This project takes just a few easy steps:

One – Download the pdf document here

Two – Print out the flags on white paper or cardstock.

I printed mine 2 flags per page, but you can print them full size if you’d like something bigger. To make the banner more durable, so you can use it over and over, I suggest printing the flags on heavy duty cardstock.

Three – Cut out the flags.

Four – Punch holes in the upper corners of each flag.

Five – Run the string through the holes on the flags, making sure you have them in the right order.

Keep going until all of the flags are strung.

Six – Hang up the banner, and get ready to party! Go Team!
