Hello, sports fans! It seems like forever since the sports world shut down, and words like quarantine and shelter-in-place became part of our day to day vocabulary.

Life without sports has been a difficult one for many of us, and I know I’m not the only one who has been watching reruns of some of their favorite games (Green Bay Packers football and Wisconsin Badgers basketball, in my case).

Another thing I know people are doing is watching a lot of movies, and there are many great options when it comes to watching sports movies.

When you ask people about the greatest sports movie ever made, you’ll find that opinions vary widely and that people can get pretty passionate about defending their favorite!

So I decided to have a little fun with finding out the most popular sports movie of all time, by running a little competition on my social media channels … tournament bracket style of course!

I asked for recommendations on what movies to include, randomly assigned them to the bracket, and then had people vote on each “game,” starting with the 64 movies in round 1.

There were easy winners in some match-ups, and really close contests in others, just like in a real sports tournament!
